Light a Candle
Marion Lois Schiemer, 90, died Saturday November 12, 2011 at Dutch Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre. Born and educated in Gloversville, Lois was the daughter of the late Frederick and Ida Mae (Scase) Giddings. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, Lois was devoted to her family and her ministry. She was predeceased in 1972 by her husband of 22 years Stanley L. Schiemer and was also predeceased by a step-daughter, Doris E. DiLorenzo (Dominick). Lois is survived by her son Kent S. Schiemer (Valerie) of Schenectady and step-daughter Meryl S. Cummings (Marshall) of Norwood, NY, grandchildren, Brian Schiemer (Cheryl) and Karen Bourgeois (Justin), Dale Fuller (Thomas) and Diane Estill (Carl), Joel and Kimberly Cummings, great-grandchildren, Olivia, Chloe and Larsson Schiemer, Jason Fuller (Sabrina) and Colleen McBirney (Samuel), Andrea Halabuda (Stephen) and Cathy Truesdale (LeRoy), Ezra and Cescily Cummings and great-great-grandson Evan Kuhne.
Grandma (Gram) developed an appreciation for Bible truths at an early age.
